El Zaguán de San Antonio - Cali

Recommend the Sancocho de gallentina! It's a lot of food, we shared it between two people.

Great place, awesome ambiance. Ok service, ok food. We had a picada platter of fried meats, plantain, yucca, and yellow potatoes a signature Colombian type of tuber called papa criolla that is typically served fried). The meats included pork ribs, chicharrones pork rinds but not very good IMO as these were dry), morcilla black sausage, which was good but not outstanding), and chorizo this one was ok, it could have had better richer flavor). We had to order extra morcilla as the portion included was way too little. The aborrajados were good. This is a signature Cali dish of fried battered ripe plantain with cheese.

Great food and atmosphere. Friendly attentive service. Some of the fried snacks were a bit fat, but otherwise everything was wonderful.
