What MaKenna G doesn't like about R G Soul Food:
The restaurant is no longer open and has been closed for many years. I moved here 13 years ago and it was already closed. When it was open, the food was mediocre and nothing special. View all feedback.

It was difficult to determine the name of the establishment from the outside, as it appeared to be a steakhouse called Roscoe's. Once inside, the foyer was dimly lit and in need of repairs. The tables were well-worn and ours had a noticeable wobble. Despite the confusion with the name on the menus (which said Nelsons), the food was delivered promptly and tasted delicious. The far side of the restaurant was well-maintained, but the side with the steam table could use a deep clean. The staff was friendly, warm, and efficient, giving off a welcoming, family-run vibe with friends and family members hanging out.
The restaurant offers delicious food and excellent service at an affordable price. If you're seeking a place that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, this is the perfect spot.

Hidden gem for Sunday lunch. A wide variety of vegetables and freshly fried chicken. While the atmosphere may be lacking, the flavors definitely make up for it.
The food is decent but it seems like it all comes from cans. The restaurant is in need of renovation and when you leave, you carry the odor of a greasy kitchen.
