Stopped over for coffee and cake in this off the freeway, high in the mountains roadside cafe. The donut filled with vanilla cream was very good with lots of cream, the pastel de nata was good, the pastry well baked and the filling really good. I dropped by to get some take away pizza for the family lunch. The staff was nice, spoke English and was flexible to adapt the toppings (somehow they don’t have the regular mixes, ham mushroom was a special request). The pizza however was quite bad: thick pasta, mushrooms from the can and very greasy taste.
