I came here with a few friends and ordered the Hawaiian burger with no additional toppings. The pineapple and wasabi mayo were absolute standouts and I loved how tasty and different this burger was. Would definitely go back again. The fries and gravy taste exactly like NYF. Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Diane H doesn't like about South St. Burger:
My son (who is celiac) ate here this past week, and despite advertising that states they have gluten free options, he still managed to get very sick from the food here. The staff was not knowledgable about gluten cross contamination and not only that, the burger was not even that good. Will not be coming back. View all feedback.
This is a sit-down/takeout franchise that is part of the new york fries chain, similar to a modern style diner. despite the fact that it is an artpas to order a sweetburger from a “burger” company, we were not disappointed! the patty was a uniform consistency (no strange mixed veg added) and with a tonne of imagination topping options, I think our veggie burgers were taken to the next level. also it is always nice to enjoy in new york fries!
It's a fast food chain, but from the burgers I could go to, I choose it. I like her pommes! They are crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. very clean. Very good. the same can be said about her bark. the burgers are delicious and the veggie toppings are crispy and fresh.
I ordered my meal at 3:20pm and at 5:30 still showed that they were preparing with a 23 min wait time. I finally reached out to Skip The Dishes (I'm at work and can't leave, hence why I ordered) only to find out that the restaurant delayed my order on their own accord without notifying me. I cancelled my order and will not be ordering from this establishment again.
This restaurant is mediocre...I'm not sure how it got decent reviews. The place was dirty, we had to wipe our own table, and the burgers were ordinary. The buns were dried out. For the price, I would way rather go to Five Guys. Or even McDonald's
This is usually my go to place in Calgary when I need a veggie burger fix. Haven't been there for a while, so checked it out yesterday, April 14. The place has changed a little in the way your order all the fixings for your burger, as they are trying to get you to order everything off a card when you place the order, but you can still pick your fixings from the counter display. All I can say is the burger is as good as ever, but I think perhaps the service has gotten a little cooler and less friendly which is a shame as the servers were always wonderful here! Also, they have increased the price by a couple of bucks for combo suppose it had to happen! As a long time patron here, I have seen the price slowly creeping up, but service is not getting better for the price. You also have to watch they don't burn your veggie burger not sure if this is a problem with non veggie burgers as I don't eat them! As more and more restaurants leap on the veggie burger bandwagon, this joint is seeing more competition from the likes of A W, but I would still rate this restaurant's veggie burger higher!
