When friends suggested we meet at the Phoenix Grill for an easy post-Christmas visit, we assumed it was Thai/Vietnamese cuisine. Wrong. The menu has a broad range of choices. The four different meals ordered by our group were all delicious, served hot & with all the adjustments we requested. Our server was very patient with us (it took us a while to look at the menus), then very efficient when we were finally ready t... View all feedback.
What Domenico Rossetti doesn't like about Phoenix Grill:
The service at this restaurant was lovely. As were the food descriptions, and indeed, the plating and presentation of the food itself. My main problem? The taste - far too sweet for my liking. The ginger beef looked lovely, but it was cloyingly sweet. The spicy black pepper shanghai noodles were not even close to spicy - just bland, tending to sweet. Sigh. Visited the grill for an unplanned dinner out. Wifey had the mixed green salad and Turkey sandwich, I had the Buffalo chicken wrap. Our starter was the salt and pepper dry ribs. We were welcomed by a very courteous and polite host. It was clear the team at the grill all worked as a team. The food was absolutely delicious and our server very professional. This grill is one of those places that meet all the 3 that seem so hard to find these days...Delicious food, reasonably priced and excellent service. Compliments to all the kitchen staff, servers and host along with management. Wishing you all continued success.
Felt very comfortable in our reception to the patio. Service was immediate and very gracious. New England Ice teas were excellent--martinis refreshing. Chili chicken very good----butternut quash ravioli was excellent. Pizzas are always a hit. Lots of parking. Recommended.
Sigh. Other diners at the table who had the steak burger, the margherita pizza, and the barley/beef soup were happy with their selections, so I clearly drew the short straw. In any case - if you like a bit (or a lot!) of sweet in your dishes, you'll like it. And their philosophy is refreshing. Otherwise - spend your looneys elsewhere.
We have dined here for years - since they first opened several years ago. They have a diverse menu, are gf friendly and aware, and offer great customer service. In the summer months, their patio is lovely. I recommend the Phoenix Grill for a relaxing night out.
I entered the Restaurant in a very Grumpy Hungry mood. My Waitress Cheryl was awesome. Her bright cheery attitude got me out of my funk and by the end of the meal I was happy relaxed person. The Meal was awesome . I have always had awesome meals. with superb service. When I dine by myself I am treated very well/. Bravo Phoenix Grill Westhills. You are my favorite restaurant.
