What User likes about Jack Astor's Bar & Grill:
Went in for their special menu around Canada Day and though I needed to explicitly ask for said menu, our server was awesome (waited on 4 tables and the bar, all on her own.) The ambiance is typical JAs, so not the best there, but the food was absolutely incredible, so tasty, juicy and flavourful, (Sugar Shack Chicken Sandwich) it was beyond delicious. I use to love to go to this place, in the summer you can drink and enjoy a lovely patio and inside it was just a fun lively atmosphere. The menu was amazing. NOT anymore! The menu has changed so many times you cant keep up and the favorites we went there to enjoy are no longer, in fact the staff changes over so much that the new people have no idea what any of the older items are. Amazing food and great portions. Seriously, their parts are dimensioned well. Your chicken fingers are the best!!! Great customer service, so fast to get a server to take my order and then VERY fast when I order my food order, I was absolutely shocked I would recommend coming to this restaurant!

Best Chicken Fingers Ever! A friend recommended it to me, so we made plans for lunch. The chicken fingers are fresh and amazing! Really great with one side Caesar Salat! Our server Herta was excellent!

The drinks and the food were delicious. What the experience really did was the waitress. She took the time to add her personal note to everything and you could say that they enjoyed her job.

Great service as always! On the higher end of prices, but food overall is good. Desserts are interesting in terms of combinations...but definitely worth a try. Jack Astor garlic bread, although drenched in butter, is very good. Gave the bean burger a try this time (shown in the photos) and was pleasantly surprised.
