Our first time to Gruman's, and I understand the hype! Great smoked beef, pastrami, and more. Quirky deli ambiance, with guests' photos on the wall and a few merch items for sale. But the food! I had the Reuben and it was perfection. The meat was not too fatty, and delicious, with excellent sauerkraut on heavenly rye. I asked for some hot mustard, and it was really good! Hubby had the poutine with poached eggs and smoked meat, and loved every bite of it. The service was friendly, efficient and quick! This is every bit as good as more famous delis in much larger cities. Calgary is lucky to have Gruman's!
