Elbow Room Lounge - Calgary

Edit: My husband and I went back to Elbow Room to give their new menu an attempt and we were definitely not disappointed this time. We had to start the tiger cows, he ordered the striploin steak and I ordered the lamb for our ducks and had the chocolate mousse for dessert. Great scream on our server Dailyn for the night that took care of us, and recommended the shrimp, lamb and mousse for dessert they were all really awesome! Personally my favorites were the shrimps and steak. The parts were also generous and we left filled and satisfied. Thank you, Chef Ryan for the invitation back and Dailyn for the fantastic service. You can say that the team behind the restaurant really cares for their customers. You have definitely changed our thoughts and we hope to visit again in the future: we went with a large group and ordered several small plates to share, and both of the elbow rooms experience meals. The small plates were pretty good, and the land sea experience was also not bad. The char siu experience was terrible and I would definitely not recommend it. The portions were also very small for the cost. We're still hungry, even after we spent about $50 per person. The service was pretty good.

Kudos to the manager here for the operation of this place very well. While we had reservations here, some people stayed beyond the usual time so that our table was not ready. The manager has accumulated very well here and made sure you check in with our group several times. The service here was good, cooks are funny indivudals (you feel a sense of community still organization in the kitchen). The food itself was very delicious. from apps all the way to desserts. The waiting time for the food was great and it came in good timing. there are two floors to this place and can accommodate various large parties. Reservations highly recommended although.it is very busy.

Wow, what a great meal! Fantastic experience, from impeccable service to very well thought out menu. We were 2 couples and had to taste 9 different dishes on the menu and a few desserts. Bison; shrimp; chocolate mousse; Bananas cultivate on waffles must try from the menu, but really I would order every single dish again, everything was absolutely delicious!! Great place with beautiful atmosphere, definitely a new addition to the favorite places in Calgary to eat. We have to come back to see also brunch and terrace looks amazing when we return this season.

I have the lamb meatballs, lobster pata and flatiron steak. The lamb meatballs were good and had a delicious sauce. The lobster pasta was a bit too cheesy for me, so I didn't like it so much. The Flachmann Steak was good, although with a beautiful sauce. The sprinkle was a little dry and not so sweet, but the make America grapes again was really good! I love the look of the restaurant. It is very modern and beautiful looking. After dinner you can even visit the village ice cream. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

A lot of attention to detail at this restaurant. A stylish but comfortable vibe. The food is more family style or tapas like. Great for sharing. And it was excellent. From the prawns to the Bison all if the plates were delicious. The service was great as well. Definitely going to go back to try more.
