Four of us ate a supper at El Redil in November '16. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the food was good--lots of french fries when you order chicken! The tequenos with guacamole were quite good. Plenty of food--whatever dish was ordered. View all feedback.
That was the second time we came here. The food as always was delicious well made to order hot. We also recommended pisco sour as Peru drink. Come back!

The El Redil restaurant is located on Plaza de Armas in bustling Cajamarca. The restaurant has a no-nonsense atmosphere and focuses on a reasonable service. El Redil offers À-la-carte South American cuisine. Service is fast and friendly. We stayed next door at Hotel Casona del Inca and we don't want to walk around a restaurant. El Redil was also booked with locals, a good sign. We went for grilled steaks with frits and salad and the steaks were excellent. We found that the choice for drinks and deserts is limited. For anyone who wants to eat good food and eat in a living ambience, El Redil is the place for you.
I was very popular, so I tried. Perfectly fine, decent chicken made of wood, decent service and I ate the salad. About half the price of the restaurant on the Costa del Sol. Recommended.
Food was very nice and the service from the waiters, but we didnt have a good experience when my daughter broke by accident a water jack and the manager made us paid for that,,That was not a problem but the price we paid was too much for a simple water jack
