Great beers, great food and an atmosphere that feels like a 70s high school cafeteria i love it! As someone who vacations in Greene County, I love all the unique breweries but hate their hours and food options. Old factory is relatively new, but quickly became part of our Greene county go tos due their great hours, food and beer. Great wings, burgers and even spring rolls while the Cairo Haze is one of the juicier IP... View all feedback.
What Maithu Venkatesh doesn't like about Old Factory Brewing Company:
One of the worst breweries that I have ever been to. The food was awful it was just frozen food that was either warmed up in a microwave or put into a fryer. Nothing wrong with that if it's done well. The drinks were awful with the exception of the Brilliant Blonde. Whoever made that mango sour has never had a sour in their life because it was just sparkling mango juice with tons of sugar. The atmosphere was mediocre... View all feedback.
From the moment my mother and I sat down at the bar, we were greeted with dirty looks, reluctant and slow service, mediocre and overpriced food, and just overall unwelcoming vibes. The bar staff were all very cold and unfriendly, one of them refusing to even look at me while she took my order. Not a smile from anyone. Our food took almost and hour (fried wings and a sandwich and fries) even though the gigantic dining area was totally desolate, and it seemed like there weren't that many customers. (and the ones that were there were also complaining about the wait time) I later found out that it's because they only have a couple of cooks inside a tiny kitchen. If you're going to run a restaurant, you need to have enough supply to keep up with the demand, and when the demand is the bare-minimum and you still can't keep up with it, you have a problem. And if you're going to take forever making the food, it better be delicious and/or affordable- sadly their food was neither. The wings were not worth even half of the asking price- they were greasy, bland, and scrawny. Like if McDonald's came out with chicken wings- that's what they would taste like. The chicken sandwich was probably the best part of the ENTIRE experience- so thank you to whoever made it. The fries were ok, but the thing is I asked for cheese fries. And when I got them, they were regular fries with a $2 dipping cup of Velveeta on the side. Not the same thing. Add on top of that a weak $10 cocktail, and a $3 iced tea, and you have the absolute worst birthday dinner ever. Yep, it was my birthday. And now I'll remember it as the night my mom got robbed in Cairo. Whoever is leaving all these 5 star reviews on yelp and Facebook- yall are either not being honest, or you need to raise your standards. This is not a business model with any longevity.

Absolutely the worse fish n chips I ever had soggy fish and chips, we wanted to trying, tried and failed, never again.
This is our favorite place. Everything about it is great, food, service drinks. Love it!
Firstly I love good craft beer and brewpubs. That’s why I can’t understand the good reviews of this place. The beer was flat, had little taste, and had a bit of the old beer line flavor.. not good. Food was ok, but very greasy. Prices were expensive 200 dollars for lunch for 4 not including tip and you had to serve yourself by going back and forth the the order and pick up counter. Not my style to write a review like this, but had to be honest.
