Yis. A small café with seating inside and outside under umbrellas. Location between reception at Mantra Esplanade and back entry to the Court House Hotel. A very pleasant setting, open for breakfast and lunch or coffee's. Very friendly Japanese girls running the café and all food is freshly prepared and very good. Good coffee as well. What User doesn't like about Yi's Cafe:
Had breakfast here while staying at the Mantra and it looked great but had no flavor. Requested gluten free bread and got the crusts...very poor. Then there was the coffee. Oh my goodness it was burnt and truly the worst coffee I've ever had, so I asked them to remake it and it still wasn't drinkable. The staff were pleasant and obliging but just had no idea about producing even average food and drink, so don't waste... View all feedback.
The food was not great and I couldn't get through on the phone to order room service. The ladies who work there are very nice but overall I would not recommend.
A little hard to find being in the foyer of the Mantra but the coffee is great and you can seat out the back away from the passing crowds
I give them one because I can’t give them zero Decided to go for lunch and ordered banana pancakes, coffee and fried chicken and rice The pancakes came out first. AWFUL. The banana was split in half and was completely over ripe. The skin was black and the fruit mush. I took it back and got a replacement. Still awful. The pancakes were not made they were picklets from a packet the cream from a can and melting ice cream. My daughter fried chicken eventually arrived only 40 mins later. The rice was gluggy but the chicken was ok As I still hadn’t got my coffee I cancelled it A complete waste of $35.
Nice cozy lil cafe in the mantra hotel, good coffee. Wasn't impressed with the food, had eggs Benedict n eggs were overcook, ciabatta bread was small, spinache wasn't steamed.
I asked for a chicken and salad sandwich. I was the only person in the cafe and had my back turned when I heard the microwave ding was wondering what it was that required microwaving for my sandwich. It was for a crumbed processed sad brownish piece of chicken. No problems, I’ll just pull the chicken out and eat the salad sandwich. However the bread was a bit stale and it looked like a regular loaf of bread you’d buy in a supermarket. The service was friendly and my juice was nice, but for almost $20 you’d expect higher standards on the food. The photo shows the remains of my meal that I could not eat.
