The cheese wasn’t melted either, causing the ham cubes not to stick, ending up at the bottom of the dish. Kind of disappointed in Cáceres since this was our first experience in the city.

It is located a short walk from the old town where you can dine with the locals instead of the hordes of tourists who invade the Plaza Mayor and surrounds to dine of an evening. While the staff had limited English and I had less Spanish we managed to enjoy our time with plenty of pointing and many smiles. The food and drink is reasonably priced for both our lunch time snack and evening meal on another night. The atmosphere was great when we visited in May 17.
