Excellent quality and flavourful seafood dishes at such a good price point. I paid $200 for a table of 5 and we had oysters, lobster, pippis, prawns, and their famous duck HSP. Small restaurant with little seating and next to a bush fish monger so don’t expect anything fancy. I’ve been more than 5x in the last year and I forever keep on coming back.
Love this place, the seafood is always so fresh and tasty. My favourite is the aburi scallops! Affordable also compared to other the Sydney fish market

4.5 stars)An adjunct to a busy fish market, Viet Hoa Oyster Bar Kitchen is Cabramatta’s hidden gem. I found it thanks to a tip from ABC Sydney’s Simon Marnie. Park in the cheap Dutton Lane car park and you’ll find it at the base of the concrete multi-storey building. For those like me) who aren’t all that fond of bar stool dining, a limited number of tables sit between the glass box kitchen and the sashimi bar. From them you can watch the action in both cooking arenas simultaneously.A mixed oyster plate $20/6) gives you three options from their interesting list that includes raw, steamed and fried options. The fresh oyster with a sweet sake vinaigrette and flying fish roe won on simplicity, though I liked the oyster with the sesame and peanut vinaigrette under red onions almost as much. For our steamed oyster we opted for spicy ginger dressing, spring onion, ginger and shallots to good effect. The surprising star was the panic-crumbed oyster $5/each) presented on the shell with in-house tartare sauce and a gleaming orange crown of flying fish roe.A sashimi mix plate $20) felt generously proportioned and supremely fresh. I skipped over salmon for a mix of tuna and kingfish, but you can opt for all three. We doubled up on scallop sashimi $2/each) and clam sashimi $1/each) to make up a six buck plate. My only complaint here was the frozen scallops needed more time to be slowly brought up to temperature. The ark shell clams were particularly tender and tasted of the sea. Round out all the proteins with some carbs. by ordering the Peking duck chips $15). Slashed with chilli mayo and dripping with BBQ hoisin, this box of chips is absolutely loaded with skin-on Peking duck. They’re really compelling eating—if a little sweet—nothing some left-over wasabi can’t fix. The only thing that would make this meal better was wine, so remember to BYO $2/head). Make sure you check out the fish market too: bargains abound.
I ordered Oysters from them through Ubereats and I was so excited as I ordered 1 Dozen but unfortunately Oysters tasted not fresh at all and the taste was so different compared to other restaurants that serve Oysters. They were also so big that made me feel disgusted and I couldn't eat even 2 then I just threw them in the rubbish.I am an Oyster lover but that taste made me hate Oysters, unfortunately. This was my first time ordering Oysters via Ubereats and definitely it will be the last.
