Food was pretty ****, ordered fried Camembert and the cheese was still cold on the inside. Ordered onion rings and they were swimming in oil, partner ordered a parmy and it was dry and hard on the edges, overall environment is nice but food needs major work! View all feedback.
Been regular diners since this pub opened. Sometimes food is hit and miss, depends on what you order. Service and staff are good. Sunday roasts are really tasty and good value. My favourite lunch meal was the Per Peri chicken burgers, always very yummy. Really disappointed the chef has mow removed from menu. The replacement is Katsu chicken burger, not so tasty.
I haven’t eaten here for a while but was definitely impressed this time round. They appear to have a new menu which incorporates lots of options for dietary requirements and was excited to see a range of different vegan items. Especially the vegan parmi which I haven’t seen on a menu and can definitely confirm it was delicious. The prices are fair and the portions are very generous. Would definitely recommend.
Went with some friends. Food was great, had the Porterhouse, medium rare cooked perfectly. Kid had the chicken burger with rhubarb relish loved it. Service was friendly. We will come back.
As a retired person it can get a little hectic at the retirement village so a trip to the cornerstone is just the thing for some peace. In fact anytime day or night it seems to be quiet. Nothing much happens there at all; although there was that time when a piece of paper blew in from off the street. That was a day to remember.
What a breathe of fresh air a pub where you walk in and it's warm and welcoming. Lovely staff, not much of a selection of mid strength beer on tap. Really good menu and reasonable prices. What a gem.
