I visited a restaurant today, 8/4/22, for their rag pudding and chips. It was absolutely delicious, even though it was raining. The pudding was tasty and the chips were beautifully crispy and freshly made. The facility was very clean and the service was very courteous. Dined in this chippy last week whilst shopping in Bury. Although the ‘restaurant’ itself was clean and the service was good there is definite room for improvement in the quality of the food itself. Go here from time to time, fish is generally good. I did once order a pie which had obviously been heated in a microwave and was soggy so never again. On the whole ok and staff always very nice.

Excellent food at reasonable prices and they had some new gluten-free scampi available which was a very pleasant surprise. Will visit again when I'm in the area.

Went in to order a big lunch for work and they come ld not have been more helpful when dealing with all the different dietary requirements, the food was excellent and we were served very quickly, cannot recommend this place enough.

I ordered cod fish today and was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, everything changed after I tasted the fish. It was dry and tasteless . That was the last time I ordered from them

Absolutely fantastic place. Fresh-as-you-like sweet and flaky haddock, with delicious dry and crispy batter. Homemade chips and mushy peas were so tasty. Even the cup of tea of from a proper tea pot was top quality. And the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Everywhere was spotless. This is a proper Bury gem and the best fish and chips we’ve had in Manchester. Worth the trip from Stockport!
