What weekender48 doesn't like about The Brown Cow:
Visited after making booking, staff very pleasant on arrival drinks and food orders taken at the bar. Very reasonably priced I thought. After waiting just over 1 hour after enquiring the meal was delivered. I had a slice of cheese pie must admit nice cheese a few chips and same in garden peas. The other meal lasagne even less chips) no veg or salad , the meal had run all down the sides of the dish. Sorry to say prese... View all feedback.
Well the grandkids had their share of the beer garden, food was brilliant and the staff were professional and the service was excellent. With me being from Bury, born and bred, loving my Boddingtons. But they have others ales to try.
Busy little pub. Only had drinks. Lots of customers as next to caravan park. Dog friendly.
Excellent pub. Service, beer, value food 10/10. The steak was premium quality. I 've paid 4x more for a steak at other places but not one of the 'gastro ' establishments could match this. O, they 're happy for you to bring man 's best friend.
Fish large and superb . Gammon 16 oz delicious , rag pudding amazing .sticky toffee pudding jam roly poly and crumble and cream excellent. Great staff well done
Staff are OK, couldnt tell us what was in the veg soup as it tasted of mint , lasagna was well done an to much lasagna sheets an not enough mince an flovour, staff need to be able to tell you what's in the food when the chef is off
