The restaurant is very costly and the tables and floors are dirty. I believe I was intentionally overcharged because I am not a regular customer. Overall, I will not be returning and I suggest you avoid wasting your money there as well.
Pleasantly surprised will be back and I don’t say that often about many eateries. Every plateful in our party of five was 10 out of 10! Fresh meals, served hot and good size portions. The fish, steak puddings, chips and mushy peas, all perfect. Gravy was spot on too. Individual preferences catered for which is always a bonus. Hot drinks were good too. If you are looking for an extremely clean environment to dine and chat without feeling rushed this chippy is the place to visit. Staff were super friendly, all of them. I can’t recommend it enough.
The cafe was taken over a couple of years ago and has been updated. The food is always a very high standard. The best fish and chips around. Everything is freshly cooked and delicious! One to go to definitely!
