My best friend surprised me and took me and my daughter for lunch. And it was and amazing experience! The tea was excellent, the small sandwiches were delicious, the chicken dumping soup was hearty and filled. Don't eat here. The owner is terrible and I am surprised that she does not charge you for the use of the bathroom, she is a huge cheap cat. I spent $100 there for me and my daughter and the portions were hardly enough for a person. She also blamed me for a sip of my daughters. When I complained about it, she called me a fat pig?. Do not eat here. The owner is horrible and i?m surprised she doesn?t charge you for using the bathroom, she is a huge cheapskate. I spent $100 there for myself and my daughter and the portions were barely enough for one person. She also chargedme extra for having a sip of my daughters tea. When I complained about it she called me a ?fat pig?. Please save yourself thetime and go to another tea parlor like Sisters Tea Room in Mentor. One scone as shown in the photo costs $9 dollars so it isalmost $20 for 2 obviously store bought scones. The waitress also admitted that the entrees and deserts are bought directly fromcostco in bulk. If you want homemade food and good quality please do not eat here.
This is a beautiful place and an experience as back in time. Beautiful Yaa pots and teacups decorate the tea salon. Everyone else and beautiful in his own special way, like a woman! They are filled and then emptied, has the hope to be useful at the next moment! It's a bit expensive, but I feel so worth it! I felt like a duchess or a lady of substance! The tea selection is amazing and the food is so delicious! I even put my little pinky in the air when I stuffed my steaming cup of comfort! What a wonderful experience! The food is beyond delicious, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and delightful. Can't say enough about this wonderful Tea Parlor! Make a reservation you won't regret it! We Can't wait to return.
The tea and food were fantastic. Gorgeous atmosphere of the historic Victorian home. Very attentive staff. Annette is an absolute delight.
Service, food, ambiance were exquisite. Our server was a perfect fit as she was professional, personable with a personality that fit the ambiance of the setting. Tea and scones were outstanding. Limited but excellent lunch menu served to perfection for all four in our party. The restored 1891 Victorian house is a fabulous example of the era. Worth a drive from anywhere in North east Ohio.
