Interior is a bit dated. The stak subs are good, but the other subs aren't the best. The Rueben has gone downhill quite a bit, and bread should be toasted. The cold subs are just OK, and the chicken Philly lacks seasoning. View all feedback.

Super disappointed. Got home to find mom's sandwich had maybe a quarter of the meat she should've. Called and was told I could bring the sandwich back. Mom didn't want to go back out seeing as family was coming over for mother's day. Would've been nice to offer to fix it for a future order...maybe replace the pathetic sandwich. Nope. EAT HERE! The best steak and onion hot subs EVER. A Flint, MI-Icon! We get the Super Steak w/ Mushrooms and Cheese. Pure food heaven! Other hot and cold bottoms are also good. Every penny worth it. Hands down the best steak and onion subs I've ever had! If you live or visit the area, this place is a must try!
The best steak and cheese sandwich anywhere. I had Genos and Pat's in New York. I had many Philly Steaks in Philadelphia and nobody can beat Big Johns. I notice that some of there taste differently, which is not good, and they have to work on it. I don't want anyone to get the best for the first time. Fenton rd, Corunna rd, and the Saginaw sites still taste when I had my first around 14 and now would be 50. The #4 with extra cheese is the best and you will love it.
Excellent customer service was friendly and patient. The fastest big John's I've ever seen and the cold ham and cheese! It was so good! Even when our order began to get quite complicated, they did not screw it up, which I find amazing.
Nice and friendly service. Understanding a mix in my order, no problem.
Love it here with great food the way you want it. Whole family can get steak onion the way they want. Never out of anything.
