10 members had a nice lunch in the 'family' room. Unfortunately there was a group of men (3) who were very loud and it was difficult to visit at our table Staff should have asked them to move to the other part of the restaurant as they did not have any children with them and therefore did not need to be in the 'quiet' area of the restaurant.
What Kitty Brown doesn't like about Mulvaney's Pub:
Hubby used to go here for work and said it was great. We met a friend there for a late lunch and had a few requests, no tomatoes on the chef salad (allergies) and if the club house had anything but real turkey breast he wanted to change to something else. The order came with tomatoes on the salad, a fruit fly in the vinegar the waitress noticed table side, luncheon meat turkey not real turkey and brown bread instead... View all feedback.
Hubby used to go here for work and said it was great. We met a friend there for a late lunch and had a few requests, no tomatoes on the chef salad (allergies) and if the club house had anything but real turkey breast he wanted to change to something else. The order came with tomatoes on the salad, a fruit fly in the vinegar the waitress noticed table side, luncheon meat turkey not real turkey and brown bread instead of ordered sour dough and my chicken caesar wrap with crispy chicken had about 6 fries and little chicken. For average meal prices of$15.95 we were disappointed with amount, service and waitress knowledge. Hubby said not as good as when he used to come. Waitress or kitchen fault? Maybe both.
I was not impressed with this restaurant. The food is expensive, and the dining area is in poor condition. I paid $20 for a 2-piece fish and chips.
Good variety menu, usually crowded on Friday and Saturday evening but they offer daily specials that are reasonably prices and service is usually good
Though the sectioned off area for families with children is not even close to being great, and the last time we visit received very poor service, we decided to go one more time.We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were served by the waitress, who was hospitable enough. The Christmas decor and festive lights gave a more inviting warmth to the room. The food was fresh and tasty, with a nice presentation. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and dining experience.
Food was good pub food and service adequate. Rather dark and dreary interior but they do have a large patio if you don't mind mosquitos.
