Nando's Peri-peri - Burnaby

I urge the staff here to check the freshness of their ingredients. I've gotten good items from this location, but yesterday I had a wrap that was full of crunchy chickpeas that were SO stale tasting, the wrap was inedible unless I picked them out. We love Nando’s. I literally just had it yesterday, and still wanted it again today. As we went to this location, we contemplated driving further to the Queensborough location. We had had a bad experience at this location before but opted to take a chance again. Well, the food was very slow to arrive. The staff was too busy dealing with a large group abandoning almost untouched meals. Something had apparently ruined their meal. The staff were searching for something all around the table before closing it off with chairs upside down on top. Clearly a vermin problem. Plus my meal which was the exact same meal as yesterday at the downtown location was done terribly. Smaller chicken, overdone and dry. Next time we drive further to the good Nando’s.
