GOLD STAR CHILI - Burlington

Often this type of places much and TR had the best steaks for years. Every place I've ever been remains stable. Come before 5:30 in most evenings and wait is not much.

I love Gold Star more than Skyline. If you have someone at your party who doesn't want cheese, Coney now has a ton of other options and burgers.

Gold Star holds a special place in my childhood memories. I have to have some every time I'm in the Cincinnati area. The bread is soft, chili is tasty, and the cheese is piled on. The server was very nice and even though it was lunchtime they weren't overly crowded. The ambiance is like any other fast food place but the floors and tables are kept clean.

Vegetarian chili!!!! Whaaaattt???!????!!???!! I never expected to find a vegetarian protein source at a fast food window in KY! I had the Gordito and Garlic Parmesan Fried. I really liked them both. I loved the Fritos crunch in the gordito... but I was comparing it with Taco Bell products in my mind. The ingredients definitely tasted of much higher quality than Taco Bell. The fries were good too, the garlic Parmesan sauce was amazing! I definitely wanted more of it. I don't know if the pricing has always been the way it is or if it's the crazy inflation of 2023, but the pricing of the food felt a bit high. I paid around $12 for the 2 items I bought. I see myself coming back to Gold Star to try out other options with the vegetarian chili.

Food is freshly prepared and served hot with a smile from our server. This is a great place to bring your family. We were pleasantly surprised to find the owners working so that their employees could have the holiday off. How special is that???
