What Thuy H doesn't like about Limon Rotisserie:
The Lomo Saltado is decent. It is well-packaged for delivery but tends to be quite dry. It could use more sauce, perhaps with the option to pack the rice separately. View all feedback.
The food at the restaurant was overall enjoyable. The ceviche was decent, with a slightly tangy and spicy flavor. The dark meat chicken was delicious and incredibly tender, and the yucca fries added a unique touch. The beef tenderloin lacked flavor and was served with mushy tomatoes, but the rice and french fries were tasty. The menu was a bit confusing, combining Peruvian dishes with rotisserie chicken and truffle macaroni and cheese. The atmosphere was lively on a Friday night, and downtown Burlingame was charming for a post-dinner stroll. Overall, while the restaurant may not have been authentically Peruvian, it was still a pleasant dining experience.
This restaurant was very busy and the food is absolutely delicious! While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food is excellent compared to other Peruvian restaurants that charge the same prices.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We were seated quickly and the service was efficient and attentive. The timing of the food was perfect and everything was delicious. We especially loved the chicharrone de pollo, which was the best we've ever had. The mango panna cotta was also a standout dish worth driving two hours for. The staff were fast and purposeful, while still maintaining a polite and enjoyable experience. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
The restaurant is known for consistently limiting the amount of sauce provided and charging $2 for an additional 2oz cup. Unfortunately, during this visit, they didn't provide any sauce at all. However, their chicken is the best in town.
