Chesapeake Bagel Bakery - Burke

After years of visiting here today was the last straw. After 30 mins of waiting for an order for three bagels all three were made wrong. The two that needed to be toasted was not the one that we asked not to be is.

The bagels themselves are delicious, but the amount of cream cheese on them is insufficient- a very thin schmear. The interior is shabby and needs an update. Would be nice if they had a functional website with the menu so you can figure out what you wantbefore you get to the front of the line.

This is a challenging review for a tricky situation. I found that the price for the entire pumpkin roll listed on their website was one amount, but when I went to order and pick it up, I was told it was a few dollars more. They reached out to the owner (I believe it was Mrs. Pak), but she refused to honor the price listed online, saying that if I wanted the product, I would have to pay the higher price. Because of this experience, I haven’t gone back to the business since.

The cinnamon rolls are outstanding! The staff is fantastic too. This place is far superior to that other bagel shop we're all familiar with, and it's much cleaner! You won't have to worry about health risks when eating here. Stick with CB—it's definitely a clean choice!

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't fantastic either. They microwave the eggs instead of preparing them fresh like other bagel shops. The bagels were quite dry. I wouldn't come back.
