The service was very friendly, the portion sizes were good for the price, and my husband, who has celiac disease, was able to enjoy the gluten-free chips. I would highly recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
What Devin Harvey doesn't like about AJ's Fish & Chips:
Easy to find the location and parking. However drink cups charge separately and no toilet available. No plates for individual, we use the tissues to fill the food. However the food price is considered lower compare to others. View all feedback.
Shop is spotless kept nice and clean ???? friendly service and good size feed! We had 2 serves of chips was enought there for 3 people! And potatoe scollops were so good!
We have not been disappointed when we have had a meal from here The grease is very small so you don't feel like you've had a meal of oil The seafood basket is lovely and my fish was tasty

Had lunch from here over the weekend. Was amazing!!! Perfect crispy batter, chips were yummy and the service was excellent! Very clean store too! They showed attention to detail that took this fish and chips to the next level. Will be locking this place in as our go to fish and chip shop!
The chips are good and if you can't tell one fish from another you will be very happy with AJ's. However, if you're someone who knows your fish, beware. Twice now mum has taken me to AJ's for their 'delicious snapper' and twice we've ordered and paid for snapper and been served the cheapest most cardboard tasting fish. Last Sunday mum asked the man who took our order if we would 'definitely be getting snapper?' Oh yes he assured her. And - once again we were given Basa. Now, according to mum, this does not happen every time. She says snapper is served when she goes to AJ's with her husband. We wondered if the 'order taker' makes a judgement about who can tell one fish from another has a code he puts on the ticket. Either way the practice is fraud and they should serve the fish the customer pays for.
