I used to rate this chain as THE BEST when I lived in Roswell back in the 90s. Back when Taco Prisa was there. I'm not saying I had a bad experience there, I'm just saying that it isn't as good as it used to be. Overall, it was a good meal. View all feedback.
What Richard Aguilar doesn't like about El Taco Veloz:
The food lost quality. A year ago the portions were bigger. The tortas are missing half of the ingredients. No cream, no refried beans, less meat and a bunch of lettuce. They change stuff every week and the price does not compensate for what you are getting. It used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore. View all feedback.
I love the burritos at Taco Veloz, have been going to the other locatio off Indian Trail for years. The only problem was that the prices have gone way too high, $9.50 for a burrito!! They used to be around $6. That wouldn't be a bad thing if the burrito was a little bigger like they used to be, these were much smaller in size. All in all a good place to check out.
Amazing food! We were on a road trip and after picking some stuff up decided to look for someplace to eat. It had to be fast because we needed to outrun storms coming into the area. We stopped because it said taco. The tacos here are so good. I asked for vegetarian and got an amazing pair of soft bean tacos with lime, salsa verde, and cilantro. Be warned, the red sauce will take your head off so avoid if your meter only goes up to medium spicy. It is delicious, just likeeverything there, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Wish I could give ten stars, and we will be stopping next time we are in the Atlanta area for sure!!!
I just randomly stopped in to get lunch because I wasn't familiar with the area and didn't know what else was near so decided to settle for tacos. My expectations were very low when I walked in. Instead of ordering tacos I decided to get the nachos. When I took the first bite and tasted the flavor... I couldn't believe it! Never in my life have I tasted nachos that delicious... Not even in Mexico itself. The next time I went I decided to get tacos l, same experience...Amazing! I asked them to show me the person that cooked it. This place is definitely an experience.
I?m giving a one star for poor customer service and food quality? Im highly disappointed at this location. The nachos had no cheese on it and when I complained lady wanted to charge me 4.60 for cheese dip? when she never asked me what kind of cheese I wanted on my nachos to begin with, I wasn?t even aware that I had that option. The agua de mango was watered down had no flavor as well as the horchata. I ended up gettin a coke from the fountain. I did try their barbacoa tacoit was a 3 out of 5 ,probably would go back just for that taco but it?s really not worth it. Definitely, not happy with their service or food
