Janie’s Riverview Cafe - Buffalo

This is such a cute little diner. We met the owner and she is the nicest person. The breakfast was very reasonable priced and tasted great (made my bacon extra crispy as requested) The coffee was bottomless and the atmosphere was what you would hope for in a classic diner. A+ to Janie and her team.

The food was good. We waited an hour and a half for our breakfast on a late Sunday morning. There were 6 people in our group. We were told by the locals that this isn't the normal wait. We were not told of the reason for the delay. We were not offered any reduction in our bill for the inconvenience of our long wait. We probably won't ever go back to this establishment.

Half order of biscuits and gravy! Hot and delicious! Coast to coast jitter juice was good! Highly recommend! Beautiful views of the Mississippi River.

Thought I'd get out of the QC and try Janie's Riverview Cafe. It was seat yourself. So, I pick the only table that was cleaned off. And the table was still wet. So, I asked them to wipe it off. I ordered my food and when it came it looked delicious. And it was. The real problem was it seemed the waitress wasn't very attentive. Maybe she was overwhelmed by the amount of customers. She seemed to be the only one waiting on tables. The food was a solid 5 out of 5. Service needs some work.

I have eaten here a couple of times. The food was always delicious and the staff courteous. Will be going back.
