Brown Dog Coffee Company - Buena Vista

Good food, nice location, nice people, however... When the cashier asks what kind of cheese would you like on that sandwich, would you like sprouts on that sandwich, would you like a tomato? ', etc... they should tell the customer BEFORE they run the credit card, that they are charging the customer for every item on the sandwich that they just so casually asked the customer about. Normally when I hear the question out of the blue what kind of cheese would you like on that sandwich? I assume that that the cheese is included with the sandwich and that I will not be surprised by finding a charge for cheese that I didn 't even initially ask for. There was a 50 cent charge for lettuce for God sakes! The only way that I knew that I was charged separately for each of these items was that I asked for the receipt, which was not given to me until I asked. This small but super busy coffee shop never disappoints. The breakfast Burrito with chorizo is very good and the Blueberry Muffins Rock also. You always have a lot of friendly staff, so customer service never seems to be a problem! Always a good way to start the day!

This is my place! Great coffee. Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Lattes. Fantastic bakery. Funny. The workers seemed to have fun. Try this coffee shop when you are in town or drive by car.

Brown Dog is our coffee shop while traveling through Buena Vista and/or Salida. There is often a line, but the staff works fast and it is always worth the stop. The Buena Vista site does not have much seating, but we usually attack it anyway. The drip coffee varieties are large black; Cream and sugar are not required when the coffee is high quality. The most important is the green chili authentic Colorado/New Mexico green chili .

We were in Buena Vista before we went back to Denver Airport and I don't regret it a bit! We thought about breakfast and coffee at Brown Dog Coffee Company. This place is amazing. The pastries and food all saw delicious I got the cinnamon roll! , they have tons of coffee products to buy and take home, shirts, gifts and other unique items that make the experience unique. So glad we stopped.
