The Groove Train - Buderim

My husband and I thought we would give this a second try as the first time wasn't that flash and the service was less than average, however the rude waitress exceeded above and beyond our first experience as she tried blaming me for her mistake of ordering the wrong dish, and has now sealed The Groove Train as a no go for my family and I. Unfortunately for this business the food was decent but the nonchalant, arrogant waitress for the second time in a row is a massive let down. If you want to get looked at like you do when you ask your kids to clean their rooms when ordering or receiving your meals then this is the place for you.

Was windy and cool out side......when we entered though large opened side doors we were in a breeze as the large opening at the front was also open......there were 8 of us and 2 were happy with their lunch.

My partner and I went in for breakfast today (10th of July) and had an awful experience. The waitress was disinterested in us as soon as we walked in the door. She didn't smile once, wasn't friendly, made us feel like she did not want us there and did not meal check us. I had the vegetarian breakfast; the beans were incredibly dry, the tomato was too soggy and the only reason I didn't complain at the time was because she didn't come and ask us how everything was, and I just wanted to leave! I felt very uncomfortable sitting there as she made us feel unwanted! Like we were ruining her day by wanting breakfast! When we went to pay, she didn't ask us how the meal was , she was very short , no smile and hardly looked us in the eye! Acted like she had far better things to do! Both my partner and I have been in the hospitality industry. We get it; shifts can feel long and tiring and sometimes you're not in the mood to converse or smile to people..... but you do it anyways. It's part of the job!!! We didn't deserve service like that. Very very disappointed.

Had breakfast here. I thought the $10 eggs bennie was great value and tasty to boot. Omelette was tasty too and the kids pancakes were good value for $6. A good value breakkie for family

Visited for breakfast recently while holidaying. We had a couple of their $10 breakfast special and other meals off the normal menu.All the food was great, really well presented and tasty. The service was the best part though, very efficient and friendly. We had Ella look after us and she was amazing.We will definitely return next time on the coast.
