We were a large group of 14 and we were seated in the main walkway. They have a touch screen ordering system so everyone can order drinks and food as they wish and book it up to their individual names (fantastic idea). The food all came out very promptly. The drinks kept getting mixed up with other tables but it wasn't a big deal as it is such a busy place. If you want to go I suggest you book. It was a fine evening... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Canteena:
We arrived, a group of 15 with no booking. Asked if any tables were free. We told no. There was a table empty for 2 hrs . Told people were 25min late. In the mean time we had spent over $400 over the bar. When we questioned we were given attitude by the door lady. Not cool. Would not recommend . Would not come back. View all feedback.
How good is this place, congratulations to the person behind the creation of this restaurant, atmosphere is great, eating is really good mexican if she wasn't this place was a must full stop.
We had a personal Christmas dinner, excellent eating, drinks and easy-going atmosphere, personal super helpful, love the simple iPad ordering system

The atmosphere is amazing here, it really felt as if I stepped into Mexico. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the sangria was just perfect and the tacos were to die for! I will definitely be back, again and again.
Great place to relax on a lazy Sunday afternoon.... service great and great food and margaritas... what more do you want...
