beautiful place to breakfast or lunch, with a good vegetarian selection. they cut some of their dinner menu items while covid to focus what they do best that are the brunch type food. a lot of egg-based dishes without vegan replacement but if they eat eggs, this is a great place to go. What User doesn't like about The Village Cafe:
20 dollars for a tasteless meatball sub and very dry potatoes with a coke. (See picture, it?s pretty funny). The bread was so hard I couldn?t even eat it, so I just ate the meatballs, carrots and 3 flakes of cilantro. The service seemed confused and the environment felt gloomy. I almost walked out after waiting on someone to take my order, I wish I did.
Man, man, what a wonderful treat! So it's the beginning of my weekend... As an executive cook, I have a strange schedule, but I degress. I stood up today and was...
Struggling, because I like to support local restaurants. You can order at the reception and then find a table. So it removes the service aspect I'm not a fan...
Love love the village! Super beautiful place, fast service and delicious food and drinks! Definitely recommend to stop when you are in the area:
If you're looking for a hidden gem to dine at without the hassle of long lines and wait times, take a short drive into Bryan to visit this cafe. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique food and atmosphere. Everything is homemade, right down to the delicious jam. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, well-cooked (the bacon was perfectly crispy), and bursting with flavor. The fall-inspired white pumpkin latte with almond milk and the apple cider flavored mimosa were both delicious. The flavors were balanced and not overpowering. My husband and I both have gluten allergies and can get sick if we consume contaminated food. Luckily, this cafe had no issues with gluten contamination. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to town!
