I really enjoy this charming cafe. I have visited a few times for breakfast and have always been pleased with my experience. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable. The interior has a professional design and creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. I also love their playlist. View all feedback.
Absolutely fantastic burger bar with a great selection of spirits and liqueurs Very accommodating and friendly staff always wanting to have a chat.
Was a very enjoyable brunch good food, quick service, great ambiance all round lovely time
Really enjoyed our dinner here. Venue is great and clean. Staff were amazing all night. Very welcoming from the get go and made sure to check up on us and the other tables throughout the night.Started off with the wings which were delicious and tender. Both the wagyu and sweet chilli chips were cooked perfectly. The sliders was an interesting way to go for those dining in, but I really liked it. Easy to eat, not to messy, doesn't fall apart. The only feedback is towards the soba noodles. Just missing a bit of flavour compared to the other dishes.Apparently they will be doing a brunch menu soon. So cafe in the morning, burger bar at night.
Outdoor and Indoor dining area on the main esplanade.Industrialist minimalist style venue; concrete, ship yard ropes, slimline furniture, dimly lit, full-bar and open kitchen with a huge single unisex/disable toilet. Casual, cozy, chill ambiance, just a great spot for Winter, Summer and in between.New York inspired, specialising in serving KFC - Korean Fried Chicken and mini Burgers or Sliders as they are hipster-ly called, perfect venue for a long wind-down after work, slow style eating. It comes with Trivia Night and Karaoke/Band, if I'm reading those posters correctly?Food-wise, happy to report, their Original KFC is 5/5, very well cooked and marinated, succulent-ly fried, moist, balanced with those "secret" sauce that cannot be disclose, even when I asked nicely. Perfectly accompanied by a glass of Pinot Gris and hot FAT long seasoned chips ..... then those perfect bite-size Sliders followed; Calamari Burgers which was first for me, those fried Calamari danced nicely with the Dill-lemon sour cream on our palate, done in a few minutes. Next was those Little Oscar Burgers, we squeezed those mini sweet buns filled with Wagyu beef patty, tasty, not overwhelming like some and easily devoured too. Great selection on their wines by the glass, Pinot Gris to start closed by a Pinot Noir, could have more if not for the 0.05.We've got the best seats in the house, that is in the Bar area, long bench overlooking the open kitchen watching our food being prepared by an Indian origin Chef studying a Master degree, while talking to the hospitable, approachable, genuine, down to earth owner Mark.Another La Dolce Vita moment, thank God for Melbourne, what an enjoyable simple night out.PS. The venue dabbled as "start-up" companies during the day, all you need is the Espresso machine running and probably with some snacks to work on :-)
We purchased a 'Deals' voucher so the two us were able to try 4 items for $39 all up - glad it was a deal because we would have been disappointed overall, especially because it took us an hour to drive there. Firstly I need to mention the lady who served us was really friendly, great attitude/manner; secondly the place was empty, no other customers over the duration we were there, so I'm not sure why they felt the need to bring everything out at once - we actually felt pressured to eat quickly knowing the food would only get colder sitting there and by the time I bit into the second slider it was in fact cold. They could have easily served the fries and ribs first, waited 10 minutes or so and then brought out the sliders. The menu is online so you can read the ingredients.....They served up 'Kim Jong Un Fries' (didn't like them), Korean Fried Chicken Ribs (nice), and you were able to choose 2 sliders each - my husband got the Little Oscar Burgers which were too greasy so he only got through one and I got the Gangnam Style Chicken Burger which was really nice. The 4th item was fried jam donuts which were over cooked and hard. If I was in the area and craved a chicken burger I would possibly go back.
