This restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a limited menu but serves some of the best burgers and fries in the Rio Grande Valley. Make sure to try the pistachio macarons as a side dish. If you're familiar with this place, you know it's worth a visit. View all feedback.
This place is a step up from Rutledge Burger. Rutledge is wonderful, but they only serve burgers. Now, at La Gueras, they offer the same burger since the owner comes from Rutledge, but they also have fries, hotdogs, nachos, chili cheese, and much more. It is also highly recommended in a more accessible location.

I was near a meeting and decided to check out some burger joints. I wasn't feeling too hungry, but I ended up choosing this place. The pictures didn't disappoint. The burger was a perfect 10 out of 10 - a classic, juicy, slightly greasy, homemade cheese-melt burger of regular size. It was absolutely delicious, with tender meat and melted cheese that made my mouth water. The fries were decent, I would give them a 6 out of 10 - just your typical fries.
Dude you have to try these Mexican style burgers. Smaller so more affordable, but you can do up to triple meat, triple cheese, triple ham. Exquisite
Perfect burger. ? Onion rings were great too! Melt in your mouth paddies. Very clean place with bathrooms. But no changing place for babies. They did have high chairs available. ?
