Mama Lolita'a Mexican - Broomfield

Arrived at 5. First bartender was great we got food and drinks. She left to serve tables. Second bartender completely ignored us. He catered to his frequent customers. Never acknowledged our presence. We finally ordered from the manager?who came to ask how everything was. Our original bartender came back behind the bar made our drinks and slammed them down in front of us. Not sure if she was mad at us or the other bartender. We would have ordered more food but couldn’t handle the bad service.

The shishitos are what put me over the moon, love this place!

Food was bland. No seasoning on the meats. Would not go again.

It was an interesting place in quite a lovely neighborhood. It was surprisingly lovely inside and I would have really liked to enjoy the inside, but the music was *very* loud so we decided to eat outside. The service was good but really quite slow in all respects. The menu is a little strange. Several main items can only be ordered for two which rules out those items leaving very few choices, especially for vegetarians. Couple of tacos came out pretty bad. But the waiter did replace them with other good tacos and also made up for them in the check. They charge a fee for making a reservation- a first for me. I’m still trying to figure out if they kept that fee or not. I wish I could rate them higher. They seem to mean well. I may try them again.

The food was outstanding, honestly. kitchen was slow but worth the wait. wish the prices were a bit cheaper though.
