Double D's Sourdough Pizzeria Taphouse

Food was awesome. Their breakfast pizza was great. Staff was super courteous and very attentive.

Until tonight, this use to be a place to rely on; a place to find comfort, great pizza, and a surprisingly good tap list. Quality service, or even mediocre, was surprisingly no where to be found. Our waiter left us at the table, as if we didn’t exist. We would have been better off working directly with the kitchen ourselves. Amazingly, It took a whole hour (maybe more) to see one medium sized pizza arrive. The only reason we didn’t get up and walk out is because we like the place. It took 35 minutes to get two beverages off the tap! We remained patient the entire time; what a disappointment. If you’re wondering, no, the place was not busy at all, nor did it get busy while we were patiently waiting around to eat. Surprisingly, this became one of the worst/bizarre dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Always great pizza every time. The sourdough adds a nice tang to the pizza that balances out the flavor. Highly recommend!

Being from Northern California I have struggled to find a sourdough pizza restaurant sense moving to Colorado. After finding double ds on google I gave it a shot and to my surprise it’s the best pizza I have had! The sourdough flavor is strong and delicious, they we’re extremely generous with all the toppings and cheese and we’re also able to cater to our family of different dietary ingredients including the gluten free pizza and vegan!
