What A R doesn't like about Puerto Viejo:
I visited this restaurant yesterday with my nephews. Overall, the place has a nice vintage and rustic ambiance. The empanadas were excellent, definitely deserving of five stars! However, I was disappointed when my pepper steak arrived cold. I didn't want to be rude to my family, so I ate it, but beef should really be served hot—steaming hot, in fact. Best Cuban sandwich outside of Miami!This is a delightful restaurant with authentic Dominican cuisine.The decorations, music and friendly staff make for a warm and cozy environment.Prices are more than reasonable for their amazing Cuban Sandwiches!
Food and service was great. I had a Pastel en Hoja and the Grilled Chicken with Mashed Yuca.
