On December 19, 2021, I stopped by this restaurant while passing through the city after seeing all the positive reviews. Since it was only 5 o'clock, the place wasn't busy yet. I received quick and friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious! Kuhn Thai will definitely be included in our next weekend getaway! View all feedback.
What Damon Rambo doesn't like about Khun Thai (brookings Or):
When I got home and looked at the duck fried rice . what a disappointment. The duck was thigh meat, very little of it. The Jasmine rice was overcooked to the point of being mushy. The dish lacked flavor. Very disappointed. Would never order this again. View all feedback.
Don't miss eating here! Otis, the bartender and our water, was fun and attentive. When I couldn't find just the right thing on the menu he told me about the salmon and pumpkin curry special. It was unlike any curry I've ever had, sooo delicious! The salmon was done by an expert chef who somehow made it crisp before adding it to the pumpkin curry, such an incredible blend of crunch, fresh veggies and amazing flavors. We're only in town for a week but we will definitely be back!

Pretty decent Thai food, we ate here twice during our stay in Brookings. The yakisoba noodles and beef noodle soup were really good!
