Nice little dinner ate here twice during a visit to the park. Cheeseburger was ok. But the chicken fried stake came with eggs, and a biscuit with gravy was really good. There was no gristle crispy crust and was well seasoned. View all feedback.
What Candice Bailey doesn't like about Shady Oaks:
Food was not as ordered, Pancakes delivered cold, then taken back to be microwaved, making them tough and chewy. Soft scrambled eggs were actually cooked as over-hard fried eggs, then chopped up. Biscuit looked awesome but was very dry, and gravy was fairly plain Servers are pleasant but had to flag them down for every coffee refill, View all feedback.
Staff was really nice. However took a long time to get food. It also felt like there wasn’t any AC in the section we were seated in.
It took forever to get our drinks and forever to get anyone to wait on then food was awful and they never came back until they brought the tickets to pay
Our breakfast was amazing! Pancakes are huge, plate big. Biscuits gravy was delicious. Highly recommend, will come back the next time we are I'm the area!
They advertise “best burger in town” and they ain’t kiddin’!
Food took forever to come out. Definitely not the best burger around. Staff was nice, guess kitchen staff was short handed.
