We stopped by Canadian Tire on Sunday and decided to grab a quick meal, and we're so glad we did! The food was fantastic, and we can't wait to go back. We spoke with the staff, who are actually the owners; they took over the business and opened in April. If you're in Canadian Tire or Brockville, skip the mega fast food chains and treat yourself to some truly delicious restaurant-quality food. You won't regret it! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Shady Coyote Fries Grill:
We ate there May 11, 202. We had Poutine's Cheese Dogs. The Poutine lacked Cheese Curd, Gravy were Under Cooked (also very Starchy). The Cheese on the hotdog was Processed (cheese slice) cheese which I just threw the cheese out. After many research and straight from the owner The Hamburgers are purchased from Frozen the Fish is Frozen Fish Sticks. Imagine spending $6.20 for 1 Fish Stick to be added to an order of Fis... Sweet potato poutins and regular poutins were excellent, paired beautiful with the truthahn sword. good portions and the burger was delicious and loaded with fresh toppings.
Fries were delicious! I also got the Mac Cheese Bits..
I havent gone here since they first opened, decided not to be a repeat customer and not sure if it changed a minor detail with their poutine but can hope for the best..well it all happened the first year they were open..My mom wanted help shopping (there was some sale involving a great buy and a limit on said items im sure coke at rexall or cocoa at GT or something along those lines) but we stopped at the shady coyote for poutines for lunch and the fries were great, the gravy was tasty and just the right thickness but the cheese came in the pieces that were roughly of the size of half a tangerine and it was piled on top of the fries and gravy with none anywhere else..if they labelled it fries and gravy with big chunks of cheese on top i would have probably ordered it and this review would have gone totally different..but F&Gwchunks'ocheese and poutine are 2 totally different dishes considering i only made one of them up in this post.. And for the record i was at Canadian Tire with my stepdad not at The shady coyote

Just a thought, you might want to change things up a bit if you want to survive in this industry.
So disappointed, new owners, new food, not up to par. Was my favourite place to get fries and poutine. Now the fries are overcooked and flavourless and topped with what seemed to be bland turkey gravy. If you are going to the Shady Coyote expecting the quality food you've had for years, you will be dissapointed.
