What Sarah Evans doesn't like about Sole And Heel:
Didn't like the atmosphere....sat around a corner away from the bar....large amount of food for the money but was pretty average....nice service....think if I go again it will be just to drink. View all feedback.
Absolutely loved this Sunday midday visit, this is a little bit like in rackheath, on salhouse road! starter were amazing, both beef, roast türkei were amazing, desert were also amazing. that's the best we found. staff very attentive and friendly, guard the chef they soon see
Where you can start on this beautiful hidden little jewel! After we have lived in the village over 5 years ago and since we first visited the pub, we have always found the food to be at point at any time, never a bad meal great portions and excellent price-performance ratio, we now live away from the antidote but regularly back for eating and drinks are the staff and cook always friendly and helpful, could not be a bad worker menu against any kind with any kind of friends. the atmosphere is beautiful, they have curry nights, steak nights, cake nights, poker nights, fruit machine available to use a good choice of music on the juke box, beautiful large gardens for children and good bbqs in summer with beer festivals. only an excellent pub for eating, families and singletons
Nice friendly pub with lots of outside space, some sitting opportunities undercover. real ales are out of the back, as not obvious as they enter. had a nice well kept pint. dog-friendly too.
Excellent sunday lunch roast. really good value for money. a warm welcome from the personal and we were served delicious food very quickly. recommend the sole and the heel.
Had a few meals here now as just moved to the area, have not been disappointed at all, the food is great and reasonably priced. They stock some good rotational ales as well. Bar staff and landlady very friendly. My new local so see you there!
