The Local is officially my new obsession! This is the first bar I’ve been to since the pandemic began. No physical menus but no compromise on fun! The atmosphere was calm/chill. Much needed. The owner is a old rude hooka smoking miserable man that sits in the lounge and stalk the costumers he’s also the DJ and he’s very weird this place doesn’t even have a restroom the bar tender spits when she talks over your food and drinks this is a horrible establishment that needs to be closed down. Small food options (pastries only), but the space is great with eclectic and whimsical decor! The service is friendly, too.
Very cozy place, quiet atmosphere to relax for a moment, excellent service. I was undecided what to drink and asked the bartender something different. He offered me an excellent cocktail. Thank you Luis.. I will definitely return.
The pastries are good but the morning staff could do better.. half the time I walk in there no one is at the counter.

Great bar and hostel, amazing people from all over the world with wonderful conversations. Sophia is a great bartender, passionate about making cocktails and kind to all her patrons.
