Crave Fishbar Upper West Side Restaurant

The oysters were good and drinks were well made. I was just surprised that they used the cheapest vodka possible for espresso martinis. Literally a $5 bottle. If I'm spending $18 for a cocktail, I expect better quality vodka.

Delicious upscale fish spot on UWS. Definitely belongs on a must-try list.

Went there on 6/1 for brunch and had shuckers choice oyster among other things. It was my second time at the Crave because I had such good experience couple months ago. Sadly it was a mistake to order the oysters. Third of the oyster had varying degree of fishy flavor. Not awful that you couldn’t swallow them down with cocktail sauce but not good. Also many were not shucked cleanly and I was constantly spitting out shell fragments. At 1.50 per oyster i thought it was still acceptable. Until I got home. I had stomach problems that sent me to toilet twice. And the next morning I woke up feverish and still cramped up stomach. Experienced shuckers and restaurant should’ve known some weren’t fresh. Especially when de shelled.

The vibe is awesome if you are looking for upscale casual and amazing and healthy food. The entire team could not be better.
