a long Sunday drive to find good food brought us to Siesta. great ambiente with Spanish melodies in the background. eating was too good. the burger tho had a floppigen bungalow, which fell easily into pieces. but the chicken fillet was great so that the bum did not fall out. the motherfuckers were victorious. overall it was worth the hour drive...and we had a great host. tussi, thank you, man! The website clearly states the restaurant is open until 10pm tonight. Yet when I arrived at the the restaurant at 7:30pm it was to my surprise that it was closed. Outside the restaurant were signs that said closed for renovations this winter yet there was nothing about that on the website. Food took so long to be ready. No one bothered to atleast let us know reason until we asked there was not even an apology. There was no sauce that should have be part of the meal when asked for it- we just told it is out of stock without improvising or even being made aware before taking the order. The bathroom was not functioning!!

Nothing to write home about. Food was tasty but platters were a bit small and R40 more expensive than the price on the menu, in fact just about everything was more expensive that the price on the menu. Also quite slow. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Not sure how they got their current rating. Food was mediocre, nobody around to check on patrons and afterwards just a vague “oh sorry” The venue from outside looks like it has great potential but no management in sight. Will not return.
