What User doesn't like about Jasmine:
The food was fine nothing special. But the food was 25 mins late and considering the cooking and delivery time took and hour we were starving, it wasn’t nice eating so late at night. Also when I rang the restaurant I told them the food was late and all they said was the driver had left and hung up. Such rude costumer service. Never have I had a chicken curry so bland it's the worst one I've ever had just chicken in a mushy sauce
The food at this restaurant was terrible. It lacked flavor entirely, the chips were soggy, and the portion size of the Hong Kong style chicken was unappetizing for the price. Additionally, the pancake roll was burnt and tasted like charcoal. I would not recommend this restaurant and I will not be ordering from here again.
I ordered the beef curry and chips from this restaurant and it was absolutely disgusting. The chips tasted like they had been sitting at the bottom of the fryer for too long, and the curry was more like soggy beef in gravy with some curry powder added. It's safe to say that these people have no idea what authentic Chinese food tastes like.
I had a bad experience with this restaurant. When I placed my order, the person on the phone kept hanging up on me before I could finish speaking. I tried to ask for £5 change for my £20 note, but they were rude and unhelpful. The food was also disappointing, with burnt chips and rubbery dishes that seemed to have been microwaved. This was my second and last time ordering from this place, as it made me ill. I won't be trying my luck a third time.
Definitely the worst Szechuan Chicken and Beef in Blackbean Sauce I’ve ever had. Both dishes didn’t taste like any Szechuan or Blackbean dish I’ve had previously from other Chinese takeaways (both have a distinctive taste and flavour). Best way I can describe what Jasmine provided? well the dishes tasted as if the takeaway were missing some ingredients and they decided to put together some Frankenstein dish hoping I wouldn’t notice. Anyway, very disappointed as I couldn’t finish the food because of the odd taste. Best advice for anyone reading this is that Bristol has loads of Chinese takeaways so I’d encourage you to order from elsewhere. I certainly won’t be ordering from here again. P.S I only ordered from here because they were the only Chinese takeaway delivering at the time of placing the order. This reason along with the free prawn crackers is why I’ve not rated them 1 star.
