Thai Aspley - Brisbane

Originally my friend and I had planned on going to Hog's Breath next door. When we discovered it was not open due to the recent COVID lock down (and had not been able to restock in time before the lock down was lifted) we decided to try Thai Aspley. We were so glad we did . The lady was most attentive and the food was divine. We have tried many Thai restaurants however the Beef Massaman at this restaurant was the absolute BEST EVER!!!

Stopped by here on our way past and so glad we did. What a great find. The three mains we ordered: Yum Gai Salad, Panang Beef and Basil and Chilli Pork were amazing and left our lips smacking with pleasure and tongues dancing. Will plan to make a stop there again definitely. Great value for money too the three main meals we were flat out eating cost only $54.50. Service was prompt and staff were so lovely. Dined here with my family last night for the first time and was very impressed. We had a great night. We had beef massaman curry, duck stir fried with basil and chilli, chicken pad thai, Thai beef salad, prawn tom yum (Tom Yum Goong), and coconut rice. The dishes we had good flavours, excellent!!!!!, very authetic flavours. The service was very good. The price was very reasonable as well. It was a very good location for a family dinner. Would definitely return…..and we would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!  Thai Aspley

Been to this Thai place frequently over the past few years because the food was absolutely delicious.... It has recently been taken over by New Management and what a terrible mistake! The pad Thai was so dry and tasteless the noddles were stuck together in huge gross clumps. The massaman curry was watered down with 4 thick pieces of grisly beef that even my dog physically couldn 't even chew.. The cashew chicken was more like frozen veggies defrosting in some kind of coloured water with maybe 6 cashews. Needless to say we will NOT be returning and will be telling everyone we know to stay away.

We discovered this lovely restaurant hidden behind Hogs Breath Cafe, and what a great discovery this was! The meals were very authentic. A great variety of the traditional Thai curries are offered. All of the curries and stir fries have their own unique flavour (they are great to share around among your group! . The service is fast and the restaurant interior is beautifully decorated, giving the restaurant a lovely atmosphere.
