A large group ate there recently and we really enjoyed the paella we were served. Our spanish friends said the food was very authentic. Great food, great service and the sangria was good too. We will definitely be back for more paella. View all feedback.
I booked Socarrat online, for a dinner with friends. After not getting any confirmation I found a post on their Facebook page that they were 'closed until further notice'.Aaaagh! I hope that they are reopening as the reviews I've heard have been great!Brisbane needs restaurants like Socarrat, to keep things different!
Found this quite authentic Spanish Restaurant by accident as its quiet new and does not show up on google maps, but we had the $45 pp banquet that includes two types of paella to share at the end. Tapas were very nice and the Paella was great not a risotto that can be sometimes served up as a Paella!! It handled a group well that included a 3 year old. It also had a nice selection of Spanish beers. Worth a visit in South Brisbane!
Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy food, there was music on the Friday night I was there, the volume was just right for relaxation and conversation.
They tick all the boxes...authentic delicious food, excellent service, unique experience, great atmosphere, reasonably priced...words just done do it justice. Thoroughly recommend!
Fresh paella, really generous size, reasonable prices, excellent service. Highly recommend for Spanish cuisine
