With the new Eating Club app offering a 40% discount on super combos, we decided to indulge in some burgers. I ordered the Yoga Mat burger, while my husband opted for the Round 1. We also got a beer and shared some chips. The burgers took about 10 minutes to arrive, which was just enough time to enjoy a Stone & Wood Pacific Ale and explore King Street during lunchtime. I was welcomed to friendly and helpful staff, the store is bright and inviting in a nice new area. I ordered the sonic boom and super fries, both my burger fries were the perfect combination of flavour and crunch. It was great to get a takeaway meal that doesn't leave you feeling sluggish and isn't filled with oil. Huge portions, great flavours and wonderful staff for a reasonable price.
With my usual cheat day companion (despite the fact that I am a gym abstainer) off climbing mountains overseas, I was left to my own devices to determine my own fate (for lunch that one Thursday anyway). Wanting to keep up the tradition, I pulled out my phone to look for some inspiration that dreary day, and was shortly drawn in by the aesthetically pleasing burgers at Super Combo, which would satisfy my fast food craving whilst tickling my gamer side with their themed buns.

A very cool little burger outlet with a street fighter theme. Service was good. I had the special, aussie burger, and was very impressed. The patty was juciy with a little charring on the outside. Nice sauce to tie it all together. The bun does hold well but it is a little thicker and dense for my personal preference. Price is maybe a little on the high side.
Ordered through Deliveroo the order was mixed. The crispy chicken burger I would order again, the slaw was way too heavy on the dressing and the beef burger was disappointing. The loaded fries were mixed and I wonder if they would have been better freshly eaten in store
