The Gladstone - Brighton and Hove

I'm here a lot when I stay with friends in brighton. the beer garden is amazing in summer with a real party atmosphere. they often have good bands and events. really friendly staff and eating is on good value for money. there is...no more what you could really want from a pub. Top brands.

This is a really lovely pub, very spacious with lots of character. It has a nice outdoor area, with heated booths. There is often live music here and I have actually played here myself. The beer selection is good and the service has always been...good. This is a great place to drink with friends.

Friendly enough staff. Bit slow on service. I popped in at 6.30 on a Sunday. 3 working. One behind the bar, 2 clearing up so had to wait for my pint. Decent choice of 4 beers though.

The kitchen here Union Grill produce delicious roasts, (I recommend ordering a board which has a mixed roast), really good burgers (Monday 2 for 1) and is a great pub with regular live music and a fantastic enclosed garden! For veggies, they have a 'Mac...fritter ' burger made of macaroni cheese its really good!

This pub is quite tastefully decorated, but everything is sticky. feet glue on the floor, glass keeps on table and so on. slightly too dark on the back of the bar and the place could really use another renovation.
