I can’t fault the food, however after the 3rd 4th time of not reading the notes it frustrated me. Pilau rice was delivered and not plain rice, too many cumin seeds. Also coriander was requested not to be added on top of a dish, was covered. Apologies but I hate it and it ruins a dish. Best to take off the south coast. the personal love! they are so friendly and they gave me a large portion size. could have fed my family twice! would really recommend it.
Never was destroyed in order from here. the set menu is an excellent value for money. that's mine when I ordered an Indian.
I ordered a lot of spice merchant lately. After trying several Indian/Desi restaurants, I found that spice merchant is worth every pfund. quality of their food is a1. quantity, even better. garlauch ginger chicken tikka jalfrezi is my favorite. highly recommended.
Been reading recent reviews of this place and i'm surprised to see so many are very negative. I ordered tonight because I want to check out all the Indian takeaways in my area. I was not disappointed. Food was hot, service great and delivered in good time. Flavour wise I really enjoyed it. Had Lamb Ceylon, Mushroom Rice, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and Naan and scoffed the lot. Withholding 1 star as I can't say if they're consistent but I will definitely order again based on tonight's meal.
The delivery was late, and then sent the wrong item. Chicken for a vegetarian, and we had to dig through our black bag to prove it. No way. Never going to happen.
