Visited in May 2022. came with some friends and this is probably the best idea as they can try most dishes on the menu. everything was tasty and we were full. portioning could be a bit bigger, but they are not small. cannot remember how much we paid, but it felt a good price-performance ratio. I wouldn't go back before I try another place, but I would recommend to go the people and try it. they may need an adventurous palette for some of the dishes, as it does not necessarily speak a traditional kitchen.
A great little restaurant with really unique eating. in the round it serves a fusion of Indian cuisine with East African ingredients, which is delicious. the service and the decour are great and this is a restaurant where I would recommend a does to dessert go the cardamon doughnuts with kulfi eis is stunning!
Visiting Brighton from the North West due to visiting family. Booked this restaurant online, which was easy. Decided we wanted to try something different and this caught our eye online as we was browsing. 5 star reviews helped on this decision too. Was not disappointed. We loved it. We was greeted with a warm welcome by Kelly our host. She was so nice. She also helped us with what to order. And it was perfect. We ordered 3 starters between 2 then 2 curries which we shared. 1 rice and 1 chapati. Everything was so fresh, and hot. It was an infusion of wonderful flavours. The atmosphere was calming with nice back ground music. Reading the little history on the top of the menu of how the restaurant came about was interesting but also intriguing as we then wanted to know more. Fantastic evening. Thanks so much. Will definitely be back.
Incredible African cuisine, never had it before and I can confirm the flavours are insane! It's a great place to share a number of plates with a small group, trust me you'll want to try everything on the menu anyway, so this is perfect! The waitress was also super friendly. 100% recommend all the dishes I had, which were Cauliflowers don't have wings the texture and flavour is something else Mogo chips Ringna bateta nu shaak Grilled masala fish Lamb kalio Mandazi Kulfi donuts for desert
Eating was very good, the meals offered are original. the booking is highly recommended, as the restaurant has few seats. also and an important point that is not on the Google booking site are tabs only for an hour and a half bootable so they need to consider it when ordering as we do not get the chance to try their desserts.
